Samsung Galaxy Devices Receiving February 2025 Security Patch Ahead of One UI 7 Update

As February 2025 unfolds, Samsung is gearing up to roll out the highly anticipated One UI 7 update for its Galaxy devices. However, before the stable One UI 7 update reaches older models, the company has started deploying the February 2025 security patch. Below, you’ll find a list of Galaxy devices that have already received this update.

The rollout began with the Galaxy S24 series, and several other Galaxy devices have since been updated with the February 2025 security patch. While users of flagship models, including the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series, are eagerly awaiting the stable One UI 7 update, they’ve only received the latest security patch so far in the second month of 2025.

This February 2025 update is designed to prepare Galaxy devices for future updates, which may include the One UI 7 upgrade for select models. However, Samsung has yet to announce a specific timeline for the major One UI 7 rollout.

The latest security patch addresses 1 critical and 34 high-level security vulnerabilities in Android, though 2 of these issues do not affect Galaxy devices. Additionally, Samsung has included 7 of its own security fixes to enhance the overall user experience. The update also resolves bugs related to the Samsung Find app, Android settings, and other system-level improvements.
